Dr. Sharon Quinn strives to ensure that both pets and their caregivers receive the support they need, while also fostering a healthier work-life balance for veterinary professionals across the field. She graduated from the DVM program at the University of Guelph in 2004 and also holds an honours B.Sc. in Wildlife Biology. Dr. Quinn serves on the Board of the Veterinary Virtual Care Association and chairs its Canadian Committee, advocating for virtual care and supporting veterinary professionals in reducing burnout. With over 16 years of experience, she co-founded Smart.Vet in 2018 to improve access to veterinary care which led to her being awarded with the CVMA Industry Award in 2024 for her pivotal role in advancing telehealth. She’s determined to reshape the future of veterinary care, proving that taking care of the people who care for animals is just as important as caring for the animals themselves.
