Michael Parent is a dynamic entrepreneur committed to advancing the veterinary field through technology and innovation. After earning a Bachelor of Commerce from Rotman Commerce program at the University of Toronto in 2019, he briefly worked for major corporations, including Tesla, Peloton, and Bell, before deciding to pursue a more meaningful career with greater day-to-day impact. This led him to co-founding Smart.Vet with his mother, Dr. Sharon Quinn, in 2018.

Michael is also the co-founder of CoVet, a cutting-edge AI-driven tool designed specifically for veterinarians. CoVet focuses on automating and streamlining tasks like medical record drafting, enhancing efficiency, and reducing burnout in the veterinary profession. It represents Michael's broader mission to bring transformative technology to veterinary practices.

Combining a lifelong familiarity with veterinary medicine and his business acumen, Michael continues to lead initiatives that empower veterinary professionals and improve outcomes for animals.
